Construction is almost complete at Three Sisters Deli (1392 Kney) located in the New Chicago neighborhood. Approved by the EDGE Finance Committee in November 2016, Three Sisters Deli is a family-run business that will offer hot, ready-to-eat sandwiches and salads. The deli will also serve hamburgers and fish sandwiches, as well as the owner, Mr. Larry Williamson, delicious and famous barbecued shoulder dog. Mr. Williamson is interested in providing a local, neighborhood dining experience and community meeting place for those in the neighborhood who have little access to prepared food options.
Mr. Williamson applied for assistance to help fund façade improvements, plumbing and electrical upgrades, interior restoration, and HVAC installation of the 1,042 square feet building. Total project costs are estimated to be $42,508.
