EDGE Fiscal Year 2020 First and Second Quarter Report Released

The EDGE Fiscal Year 2020 First and Second Quarter Report has been released.

During Q1 and Q2 FY 2020, approved projects committed to:

• 634 jobs at an average salary of more than $52,000
• $443 million in capital investment in Memphis and Shelby County
• $64.2 million in additional tax dollars for the area
• $35.2 million in spending with minority and women-owned businesses

The story for Q1-Q2 FY2020 centered on a big new investment in our community by Hyosung, the impact of an NBC television series filmed in Memphis and Shelby County, neighborhood revitalization, good-paying job growth through local company expansion, and the potential for significant community reinvestment with a newly created TIF.
