EDGE Hosts Fourth Annual Small Business Expo, Celebrates Entrepreneurship City, Memphis Entrepreneurs

EDGE will host the Fourth Annual Small Business Expo on Thursday, June 25, 2026, bringing together entrepreneurs, community partners, business support organizations, and residents for a showcase of Memphis small businesses and the impact they are making across the city.

The event serves as a celebration of local entrepreneurship and a key activation of Entrepreneurship City – an initiative launched by EDGE and the City of Memphis to connect founders, small businesses, and innovators with the resources, relationships, and opportunities needed to grow and succeed.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy,” said EDGE President and CEO Dr. Joann Massey. “Through Entrepreneurship City, we’re working alongside the City of Memphis to ensure founders have access to the connections, resources, and support systems that help turn great ideas into impact.”

WHERE: Renasant Convention Center, Riverfront Rooms 1-5 (255 N Main St, Memphis, TN)

The Small Business Expo will feature dozens of Memphis entrepreneurs representing a variety of industries, including dining, retail, beauty, childcare, fitness, professional services, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop local, meet founders, hear their stories, and learn how they are helping strengthen neighborhoods and commercial corridors throughout Memphis and Shelby County. They will also get to experience the EDGE Culture Corner, featuring local creatives alongside the small business vendors.

Since 2014, businesses supported through EDGE’s Small Business Loan Program have invested approximately $9 million into the communities they serve and created nearly 600 jobs. Many of those businesses will be featured at the Expo, offering attendees a firsthand look at the impact local entrepreneurs are having across the city.

Attendees will have opportunities to connect with organizations dedicated to helping businesses launch, grow, and thrive. The Small Business Expo is free and open to the public.
