The Heights General Partnership, lead by Drew Joyner, Octavious Nickson, and Chris Hendrix was approved for a $75,000 ICED loan for three contiguous parcels at 3393 Summer, 3437 Summer, and 610 National. Total project costs are approximately $1.8 million, excluding the $1.4 million purchase price of the property.
The 54,000 square foot property has space for over fifteen businesses ranging from an events center to a fitness center, hair and nail salons, tax services, scooter sales, dental lab, a small corporate office, a small church, and two new restaurants. This intersection is a priority Accelerate Anchor in the Memphis 3.0 Comprehensive Plan. The project is supported by the Heights CDC and the Summer Avenue Merchants Association.
